Japan: Zuihoden

On Thursday I got two postcards: one from Japan and one from Thailand.

The card from Japan shows a detail of Zuihoden in Sendai. Zuihoden is a mausoleum complex built in the 17th century for Date Masamune, the founder of the Sendai Domain. It was built in the Momoyama style and had to be rebuilt after its destruction during World War II. Since 1931 it is an National Treasure of Japan.

With a great stamp:
150 years Diplomatic Relations with Denmark (from set of ten) (issued 02-05-2017)
with a special postmark

Thank You very much Keiko!
