Vietnam: Ho Chi Minh City

The last week I was in Austria and last Saturday, before I left for my holidays, I got four postcards: two from Vietnam, one from Andorra and one from China

One of the cards from Vietnam shows the Nga Sau Cong Hoa Square in Ho Chi Minh City. Ho Chi Minh City is the biggest city in Vietnam. It was formerly known as Saigon and was just named after the revolutionary leader in 1976. It was once the capital of the French colony of Cochinchina and later of South Vietnam.

Stamp:
Trang An (from set of three) (issued 23-01-2015)

Thank You very much Jobbo!
