South Korea: Haeinsa

On Monday I got a postcard from India and my first five postcards from South Korea.

One of the cards from South Korea shows Haeinsa. Haeinsa is a head temple of the Jogye Order of Korean Buddhism and one of the Three Jewel Temples of Korea.
It is mostly known for treasuring the Tripitaka Koreana. The Tripitaka Koreana are one of the oldest Buddhist scriptures that still exist. Since 1995 it is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

With great stamp:
Year of the Snake (from set of two) (issued 03-12-2012)
(the stamp glows in the dark)

Thank You Joony for all the cards and the FDCs!!
