Russia: Winter Palace

On Saturday I got eight postcards: One from Canada, one from Russia, five from Austria (which I sent to me when I was there) and my first card from Cambodia.

The card from Russia shows the Winter Palace in Saint Petersburg. The Winterpalace was between 1732 and 1917 the official residence of the Russian Monarchs. The Winterpalace is a part of the Hermitage which is a part of the town centre of Saint Petersburg and thus is the Winterpalace since 1990 a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Thank You very much Maria!
